Bandipora, December 10 2025: Bandipora Police today organised a Police Community Partnership Group (PCPG) meeting at Nowgam, under the jurisdiction of Police Post Nowgam, with the objective of further strengthening police-public cooperation in the area.
The meeting was chaired by SSP Bandipora, Shri Ajaz Ahmed Zargar–JKPS, and was attended by representatives of Market Associations, Auqaf Committees, Numberdars, Chowkidars, local youth and other prominent citizens, besides other officers of District Police Bandipora.
During the interaction, participants raised various community-related issues, and SSP Bandipora assured that genuine grievances pertaining to other departments would be taken up with the concerned authorities for timely redressal, while police-related matters would be addressed on priority.
He also stressed the importance of public cooperation in maintaining peace and law and order, sought community support in action against anti-national and other criminal elements, particularly those involved in drug trafficking, and urged citizens to report any suspicious activity to the nearest police unit without hesitation.
The participants appreciated the initiative of Bandipora Police and reaffirmed their commitment to work jointly with the police for a peaceful, secure and crime-free Bandipora.
