Hajin, Feb 27: A delegation from the BJP unit in Hajin, led by former district president Naseer Lone and Sonawari constituency in-charge Bilal Ahmad, visited the site where a road had collapsed, causing severe inconvenience to residents. The leaders met affected families and officials, urging the district administration to ensure immediate relocation and rehabilitation for those impacted.
Expressing concern over the worsening situation, Naseer Lone criticized the administration and MLA Sonawari for their inaction, stating that timely intervention could have prevented the crisis.
“The authorities failed to act when early signs of damage appeared, leading to the current situation. The administration and the local MLA must take responsibility for their negligence,” Lone remarked.
The BJP leaders assured the affected residents that they would press higher authorities to expedite relief measures and permanent solutions to prevent further damage.
