- Baramulla, 13 Apr 2026: Under its Community Outreach Indian Army, in collaboration with Government Medical College (GMC), organised a blood donation camp at Baramulla town on the occasion of Baisakhi. The initiative witnessed enthusiastic participation from Army personnel, medical staff, youth volunteers, and local residents.
- A total of 57 units of blood were donated during the drive. Medical teams from GMC ensured safe collection and screening in strict adherence to established health protocols. Awareness sessions on voluntary blood donation were also conducted, with informational materials distributed among the community.
- The camp reflects the spirit of the outreach programme — service, compassion, and collective responsibility. Such initiatives continue to strengthen the bond between the Indian Army and the people of Baramulla, fostering trust and goodwill at the grassroots level across Jammu & Kashmir.
