New Delhi: Sangeeta Shukla Urges PM Modi to Declare “International Astro & Numerology Day”
Prominent Numerologist and Vastu Expert Smt. Sangeeta Shukla has made a significant appeal to the Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, urging him to declare an “International Astro & Numerology Day” to promote and institutionalize India’s ancient wisdom globally.

Mrs. Shukla was recently felicitated by a leading Delhi-based organisation for her outstanding contribution in the field of Numerology and Vastu. She was addressing a gathering of astrologers, numerologists, and traditional science practitioners who came from across the country to deliberate on ways to promote and preserve India’s age-old astro-knowledge.
Speaking on the occasion, Smt. Shukla strongly advocated for a national-level programme under the aegis of the Government of India to honour astro-sciences, encourage ethical practices, and integrate traditional wisdom with modern national aspirations.
“Astrology and numerology are not mere belief systems,” she said. “They are ancient Indian sciences based on cosmic patterns and mathematical precision that provide practical guidance in life, health, career, and business.”
She highlighted that currently, lakhs of practitioners, learners, and consultants are silently contributing to this knowledge economy. With structured training and mainstream support, the sector has the potential to generate employment, uplift rural knowledge practitioners, and position India as a global leader in astro-sciences.
Smt. Shukla further called upon universities and academic institutions to introduce certified courses, diplomas, and research fellowships in astrology, numerology, and Vastu Shastra. This, she stated, would lend academic credibility, ensure quality, and empower a new generation of trained professionals to carry forward this ancient legacy responsibly.
“It’s time to bridge our past with the future. Let us align India’s spiritual soft power with scientific vision for Viksit Bharat @2047,” she concluded.
