
Mugam, Sep 19 : In a bid to empower and guide the future workforce, Government Degree College Magam organized a comprehensive Career Counseling and Guidance Program on today. The event was graced by eminent personalities from the field of education and employment, including the Chief Guest Nowsheen Bashir, the principal of Doon International School along with Guest Counselors from the Department of Employment Masrat Masroor and Yasir shafi. In addition to the faculty members and students, the Principal of the college Prof. Dr. Mohammad Hussain Malik also attended the program.
The Career Counseling and Guidance Program aimed to provide valuable insights and guidance to students, enabling them to make informed decisions about their future career paths.
The event began with an inspiring welcome address by Head Department of English Dr. Shabeena Kuttay who emphasized the importance of career guidance in shaping successful lives.
The Chief Guest of the event, delivered a motivating speech, saying, “In this dynamic world, it is crucial for students to have a clear vision of their career goals. The government is committed to providing the necessary resources and support for your journey to success.”
Guest Speakers from the Department of Employment, shared their expertise and valuable insights during interactive sessions with students.
Masrat Masroor from Department of Employment stated in her speach, “Your career is a reflection of your aspirations and talents. We are here to guide you in identifying and pursuing your true potential.”
Yasir Shafi from the same department stated in his speach, “The employment landscape is evolving rapidly. It’s essential to stay informed about industry trends and explore various career options. Your success depends on making informed choices.”
The Principal of the college Prof. Dr. Mohammad Hussain Malik expressed gratitude to the Chief Guest and Guest Counselors, saying, “This Career Counseling and Guidance Program has been a valuable resource for our students. We are thankful for the expertise and guidance shared today.”
