Baramulla October 25 : On the directions of Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor, UT of Jammu and Kashmir, Sh. Manoj Sinha, the Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Minga Sherpa accompanied by Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Uri, Javaid Ahmad, today paid a visit to the families of two porters who were killed in a brutal attack at Bota Pathri, Gulmarg, on the evening of October 24th, 2024.
During the visit to Nowshera Boniyar, the residence of slain potter, Chaudhary Mushtaq Ahmad, the DC met with the bereaved family and extend condolences and assured them of support of the administration during this difficult time.
Meanwhile, the DC accompanied by the SDM also visited Barnate Boniyar, the home of Zahoor Ahmad Mir, the slain porter, where they paid their respects and offered heartfelt condolences to the grieving family, acknowledging the service and sacrifice of the deceased.
