DC chairs Block Diwas at Kulgam

Similar outreach programmes also held at DH Pora & Devsar


KULGAM, NOV 22: In order to take appraisal of public welfare and development issues, and to resolve grievances promptly, weekly Block Diwas camps were today held across district Kulgam.
Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr. Bilal Mohi-ud-din Bhat chaired the weekly Block Diwas event at Kulgam and listened to the issues of the public in the presence of a gathering of officers, officials and public.
People belonging to villages including Aman pora, Nowpora, Laroo, Chadder, Bhan etc put forth various developmental and welfare demands pertaining to RDD, R&B and KPDCL during the camp.
The issues, demands and grievances were noted by the concerned. DC assured the public about the prompt resolution of the same and instructed concerned to make immediate efforts towards their resolution.
The DC on the occasion instructed the authorities of KPDCL to ensure power supply to people in all areas as per schedule strictly.
Officers and heads of departments also responded to the queries and grievances of the people pertaining to their departments.
ADC, Viqar Ahmad Giri, various district officers and officials were present in the grievance redressal camp.
Similar Camps were also held at DH Pora and Devsar tehsils of the district to interact with people on a wide range of issues concerning the public.
