DC Ganderbal inspects several public utilities at Bus Stand

GANDERBAL, SEPT 15: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ganderbal, Shyambir today conducted a tour of the newly constructed bus stand near SSP Office.
On the occasion, the DC inspected the progress of various ongoing works like the Municipal Council Office complex, cafeteria, Ground and other works.

While inspecting the progress of works, the DC was informed that most of the works are completed and both cafeteria and Municipal Council Office are also completed except a few minor finishing works which shall be completed very soon and both the blocks will be ready for use.
The DC also reviewed the construction of passenger sheds, water facility, lighting, installation of CCTV, public toilets, space for drivers, etc.
The PDD was directed to ensure sufficient lights are installed within the bus stand and power supply is provided to all utilities.
Similarly, Jal Shakti was directed to ensure sufficient water supply is provided wherever required.
EO, municipal council Ganderbal was asked to ensure CCTVs are installed on all vital points so that proper surveillance is ensured.
On the occasion, the DC also interacted with the sumo stand association who apprised him of several demands for which the DC said that the district administration is committed to develop the bus stand as economic hub and assured all modern facilities will be made available here once the bus stand is made full functional.
During the visit the DC was accompanied by President Municipal Council Ganderbal, Altaf Ahmad; EO, MC Ganderbal; ARTO Ganderbal, AEE PWD and other officials.
