DC Kishtwar chairs DLC meeting regarding verification of PMAY Urban 2.0 beneficiary cases

KISHTWAR JULY 09: Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, Pankaj Kumar Sharma convened 2nd District Level Committee (DLC) meeting regarding Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana- PMAY (Urban) 2.0 beneficiary verification in the district Kishtwar.

Out of 40 cases reviewed, 38 were rejected due to non-fulfillment of guidelines and eligibility criteria, while 2 cases are pending for title verification.
The DC directed Tehsildar Kishtwar to facilitate the applicants of pending cases for expeditious disposal, emphasizing the importance of transparency and proper identification of eligible beneficiaries to ensure timely benefits reach deserving households.
The meeting was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner Pawan Kotwal; Tehsildar, Nirbhay Sharma; DSWO Zubair Ahmed; Chief Executive Officer, Municipal Council Mirza Mumtaz Iqbal; Tehsildar HQ Sunali Rani besides concerned officers and officials.
The District Administration reaffirmed its commitment to the successful implementation of PMAY (Urban), aligning with the vision of “Housing for All.”
