Jammu 10 July / On the occasion of Guru Purnima, Mahant Guruji Raju Chandel, the head of All India Maharishi Valmiki Sadhu Akhara Parishad, along with his wife Mrs. Lakshmi Chandel, today went to the temple of our divinely brilliant Mahamandaleshwar Shri Krishna Shah Vidyarthi ji of Valmiki society, and worshipped his feet, presented flowers, garlands, shawls, etc., washed the feet of Mahamandaleshwar and worshipped him, performed worship according to the Sanatan Dharma culture and Guru tradition, as per the rituals. Apart from this, he also worshipped Shri Mahamandaleshwar Roshan Shah and Lord Valmiki Ashram Nehru Park Mahamandaleshwar Vivek Nath Swami Ji Maharaj and Swaminarayan Temple South Avenue in the ancient temple of Lord Valmiki at Majnu ka Tila. Peethadheeshwar Guruji Dayanand Shukla ji was also worshipped by paying obeisance to his feet as per the rituals. On this occasion, BJP Delhi State Organization Minister Pawan Rana, Vishnu Mittal, Scheduled Caste Front State President Mohanlal Gihara, General Secretary Lajpat Rai, Office Minister Sumesh Lilothia, General Secretary Rupesh Mehra etc. also reached to take blessings from Mahamandaleshwar Krishna Shah Vidyarthi ji and welcomed him with a flower garland. On this occasion, while greeting Mahamandaleshwar Krishna Shah Vidyarthi ji, State President of Scheduled Caste Front Mohanlal Gihara said that Guru Parv is the identity of Sanatan culture and civilization. On this occasion, BJP Delhi State Organization General Secretary Pawan Rana ji described Mahamandaleshwar Krishna Shah Vidyarthi ji as a divine and radiant virtuous soul and worshiped him and received his blessings. Mahant Guruji Raju Chandel honored all Mahamandaleshwars by presenting them shawls and flower garlands. Guru Purnima is celebrated on the full moon day of Ashad month, and is considered a day to express respect and gratitude towards the Gurus. On this day, people seek blessings of their Gurus, teachers, guides and pay respect to them. This day is also celebrated as the birth anniversary of Maharishi Ved Vyas, who compiled the Vedas.

Keeping this tradition alive, many senior leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party from across the country and respected workers including the State Spokesperson Board BJP were present at the temple ashram today.
