DC Kulgam chairs DLTC meeting

KULGAM, FEB 13: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Athar Aamir Khan Tuesday chaired a meeting of District Level Technical Committee (DLTC) for finalizing the Scale of Finance for the year 2024-25 for Agriculture, Horticulture, Sericulture, Floriculture, Fisheries, Animal and Sheep Husbandry.
During the meeting, threadbare discussion was held on various aspects to determine and fix the Scale of Finance for providing short term loans to the farmers to strengthen the backbone of the economy.

On the occasion, the DC sought detailed feedback from the officers regarding the costs involved in different inputs of crops.
He directed officers to ensure maximum coverage of beneficiaries under Government Schemes and loan components from banks.
General Manager ACCB, DDM NABARD, District officers of Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry, Fisheries, coordinator KVK and other concerned attended the meeting.
