Digital J&K Week 2023 inaugurated at Town Hall Pulwama

PULWAMA, AUGUST 31: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Pulwama, Dr. Basharat Qayoom on Thursday inaugurated Digital Week at Town Hall Pulwama and flagged off Digi-Van for dissemination of Digital Services across the district.
The DC while addressing the occasion laid emphasis on adherence to PSGA (Public Service Guarantee Act) timelines so that the real motive of Digital Governance is achieved and public visit to offices is minimised.
Further Educational Institutions were advised to form Digital Clubs as students will act as Catalysts for dissemination of information and they will be the forebearers of Digital Governance, DC added.
The DC stressed on convergence of schemes like HADP (Holistic Agriculture Development Plan) with Digital Governance so that a corruption free environment is created emphasizing that Digital Governance is synonymous with Corruption Free Governance.
While inspecting the stalls of various departments, the DC instructed them for wide dissemination of services being offered to the public.
Dr Basharat urged the people to avail the benefits of these initiatives and emphasised on “Digital Hai to Sahi Hai- Nahi Hai to Galat Hai”.
He said that during the week long celebrations events will be held across the district and information will be disseminated so that Digital Empowerment is achieved.
