Div Com Kashmir visits Bemina Grid Station SLDC reviews overall power scenario

SRINAGAR MARCH : 15 In view of inclement weather and holy month of Ramadhan, Divisional Commissioner (Div Com) Kashmir, Vijay Kumar Bidhuri today visited Bemina Power Grid Station and Sub Load Distribution Centre (SLDC) to inspect overall power scenario, load monitoring and distribution system.

At SLDC, he reviewed division and district-wise details of power load and consumption and instructed for efficient allocation to minimize disruptions.
On the occasion, he was briefed regarding the current demand, supply and consumption of electricity.
Meanwhile, Div Com enjoined officers at Grid Station to ensure smooth operation of all the feeders for reliable electricity to the general public especially in peak hours of Sehri and Iftari.
He also directed restoration of service lines within the stipulated timelines in case of disruptions caused by prevailing weather.
Besides, Div Com also directed for the deployment of dedicated teams at the control room to monitor the overall scenario and asked them to respond immediately to any exigency.
