Srinagar 27 August 2025: An inspection was conducted today on 27-08-2025 in the Ganderbal area by a team of Drugs Control Officers comprising Shri Bilal Ahmad Rather, DCO (HQ) and Mrs. Hadiya Shah, DCO Kangan/Lar, to ensure the effective implementation of the Computerized Billing System (CBS) and the issuance of computer-generated cash memos.
During the inspection, several establishments were checked. In cases where CBS had not been adopted, on-spot notices were served and the operation of such shops was disallowed till further orders, under the provisions of Section 22(d) of the Drugs and Cosmetics Act.
