Dy. SP Aman Thakur Memorial GDC observes Vigilance Awareness Week

DODA, OCTOBER 30: In observance of Vigilance Awareness Week, the staff and students of Dy. SP Aman Thakur Memorial Government Degree College Kastigarh, came together to take the Integrity Pledge to uphold values of honesty and transparency. The event revolved around this year’s theme, “Say No to Corruption, Commit to the Nation,” reinforcing a collective commitment to a corruption-free society.

Prof. Koshal Kumar Mangotra, Principal of the college, addressed the gathering, urging everyone to perform all tasks with integrity and in a transparent manner. He emphasized that this dedication to ethical values contributes not only to personal growth but also to the overall development of the nation. His words encouraged students and staff to stay vigilant and proactive against corruption.

A special lecture was delivered by Zahid Hussain Dar, who discussed the menacing impact of corruption on the society. He highlighted various measures that individuals and communities can take to curb corrupt practices, fostering an atmosphere of accountability and honesty. His insights were aimed at empowering students to take an active role in rooting out corruption from their communities.

Dr. Arjun Singh, PTI of the college, administered the Integrity Pledge, with students and staff members actively participating in the vow to uphold ethical standards. Other prominent staff members, including Dr. Anupum Lata, Assistant Prof. Satpal, Dr. Sajad Kar, and Sachin, attended the event, contributing to the overall success of the awareness initiative.

The event concluded with a renewed sense of commitment among participants, determined to work towards a corruption-free nation and uphold integrity in all aspects of life.
