Locals Welcome the Initiative
Ganderbal, Nov 23, 2025: A free medical camp was organized on Sunday by Army Camp at the Islamic Education Institute, Gasoo, benefiting local residents with essential healthcare services.
The initiative provided medical consultations, routine health check-ups, and free medicines to villagers. The medical team, led by an Army doctor, also educated attendees on hygiene, sanitation, and preventive healthcare practices. They addressed common ailments and advised people on maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
The event significantly strengthened the Indian Army’s image as a people-friendly force and helped build goodwill and trust among the local population. Residents also extended administrative support in preparing the school premises for the camp, making themselves an integral part of the event.
