Grand Siddhivinayak Chaturthi Celebration Held at Indra Nagar, Srinagar, Shiv Ji Temple

Srinagar, 3rd September 2025: The week-long Ganesh Chaturthi Mahotsav, organized by the All PMP Employees Welfare Association Srinagar (Kashmir) – APWAS(K) in collaboration with the Shrimant Bhausaheb Rangari Ganpati Trust, Pune, Shri Punit Balan (Chairman-Punit Balan Group) and Shri Mohit Bhan Ji, Socio Political Activist J&KUT concluded today with a vibrant and grand Ganesh Visarjan procession, followed by a sacred Hawan.

Addressing the gathering, Mr. Amit Zadoo, Vice President of APWAS(K), along with the entire team, extended heartfelt gratitude to the district administration for their continuous support and guidance.

We express our deepest thanks to DC Srinagar and the entire district administration for their wholehearted cooperation in making this Mahotsav a grand success. Their support enabled our community to celebrate this sacred festival with devotion, dignity, and pride.

On this occasion, DC Srinagar extended warm greetings to the Kashmiri Pandit community and wished for lasting peace, harmony, and brotherhood across the district.

Shri Mohit Bhan Ji, Socio Political Activist J&KUT and Shrimant Bhausaheb Rangari Ganpati Trust, Pune, Shri Punit Balan (Chairman- Punit Balan Group), for organizing first-ever Siddhivinayak Chaturthi celebrations at Indra Nagar, Srinagar and for their unwavering efforts to unite and uplift the community.

The association expressed hope that such celebrations will continue to grow in scale and significance in the coming years.

The grand Visarjan Rally, with huge numbers of devotees, commenced from Indra Nagar Shiv Ji Temple and culminated at Rajbagh, Vatista Ghat Srinagar, where the Murti Visarjan was performed with deep devotion amid resounding chants of “Ganpati Bappa Morya!”

As devotees bid farewell to Lord Ganesha with teary yet joyous hearts, the event stood as a symbol of religious devotion, cultural harmony, and collective hope for a peaceful and prosperous future in the Valley.
