IIT Jammu hosts school students of Stephen International School R.S. Pura Jammu

Jammu, July 18 : The Outreach Section at IIT Jammu today welcomed 50 students and 3 escorts from Stephen International School, R.S. Pura Jammu on 18th July 2024. The students were guided through a scheduled visit to the Central Workshop, Tinkering Lab, and Physics Lab.

During the visit, the dedicated lab faculty and staff provided detailed explanations of the workings of various machines and the importance of the equipment in the labs. The students actively participated, engaging with the staff by asking numerous questions, which were patiently and thoroughly answered.

After the lab tours, Dr. Parveez Fatima, Dr. Nalin Sharma, and Ms. Jeyoti Kaul interacted with the students, providing them with insights into the academic and overall environment of IIT Jammu. The interaction aimed to inspire the students and give them a glimpse of the opportunities available at the institute.

Refreshments were served to all participants, concluding the visit on a positive and encouraging note. IIT Jammu remains committed to fostering educational outreach and inspiring the next generation of students through such interactive and informative visits.
