Indian Army Celebrates Army Day with ‘DOSTI’ Outreach, Strengthens Bond with Youth in Bandipora

Bandipora | 15 Jan 2026: On the occasion of Indian Army Day, the Indian Army’s Wular Battalion organised a community outreach event titled “DOSTI” for students of Putushai College, reaffirming its commitment to Dosti, Madad aur Bharosa.
The event saw enthusiastic participation from around 120 students, who were taken to Chandaji Eco Park for a picnic-cum-interaction programme. The day was marked by vibrant cultural performances, games, and recreational activities, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere.

Students interacted freely with Army personnel, while local residents, volunteers, and social activists also joined the celebrations, making the programme inclusive and meaningful. The initiative aimed to foster trust, goodwill, and mutual understanding between the Indian Army and the local youth.
