Mumbai, 12 July 2025: In a heartening development for residents of Jammu & Kashmir (J&K) seeking a new life in India’s financial capital, a group of nearly 15 Kashmiri professionals has come together to launch a unique support initiative — the J&K Power
Formed as a non-profit collective, the group aims to act as a support network for new arrivals from Jammu & Kashmir, especially students, job seekers, and families relocating to Mumbai in search of better opportunities in education, employment, and healthcare.
Founded with a Purpose
The initiative is spearheaded by Ajay Kaul Saraswat, a media professional by profession & President J&K Vibhag BJP, North Mumbai, who envisioned the collective as a practical support system for fellow Jammuites and Kashmiris arriving in the metropolis.
