Our endeavour is to pursue a mission of making KPA Mumbai a stronger, vibrant and contemporary team more relevant to current needs of the community, has a long-term vision to engage the community locally across multiple levels and become a force to reckon within the Indian and Global KP community with its outstanding contributions.
Some of the milestones laid out by as a team for next 3 years and beyond are as below:
Community Engagement and Involvement
Outline plans for membership expansion, increasing of community engagement, and broader outreach efforts to attract new active members.
Empowering young members to take the lead on projects and initiatives that are relevant to their interests and concerns.
Networking and corporate connect by inviting KP entrepreneurs.
Develop the next line of youth leaders early and also nodal teams across the city and suburbs to carry forward the KPA Mumbai vison at a grassroot level.
Infrastructure and Assets of the community
Upgrade Sharda Sadan. Creating Attached bathrooms for at least few rooms, soundproofing of the auditorium for small conferences/ functions.
Making Sharda Art Gallery functional and undertake fresh projects for the same.
Creating a Digital Exodus Museum
Kashyap Bhawan upgrade, soundproof auditorium, renovation and refurbishment of the hall, upkeep and maintenance of the flat and office.
Further the spread of KP cuisine by supporting through our assets at Kharghar and Andheri.
Outreach across KP and Local Communities
Address needs of the elderly in the community especially senior citizens who need support and guidance on various issues including health, finance and build a support system for these strata of community elders across various nodes of Greater Mumbai
Reinforce KPA Medical Fund and Education Fund to help the needy.
Offering opportunities for members to develop their skills, knowledge, and leadership abilities through training, workshops, mentorship programs.
Hosting social events, outings, and recreational activities to provide opportunities for community members to socialize, network and get benefited.
Engage with local community through above events and more; yearn to give back to this society, and the land of Greater Mumbai especially, for helping us stand on our feet especially during last 3 decades.
Governance and Transparency
Committing to maintaining transparency and accountability in all Trust’s processes, including decisionmaking, and communication with members We wish to have a board of young trustees for 2024 -2027 coming from diverse professional fields and contribute to build this association from here.
Develop a corpus that sustains the association and its activities in sustained manner. We aspire to double the annual revenue and funds generation through various new efforts and engagements at community and corporate level.
We aspire to implement the much-awaited constitutional amendments as recommend by Late Sh. C L Kaul andsubmitted with Charity Commissioner during Sh. Rajen Kaul’s tenure. We see this as a revival of KPA Mumbai to changing social and community needs.
Digitization of all records, transactions and community events to make engagement, relevance and participation much better.
We welcome like-minded individuals from the candidates standing for the elections, who share a similar vision and ideas for our community and are selflessly willing to work towards the same.
