January 20: Continuing unwavering efforts to bridge the gap between police & public, Kulgam Police facilitated Police Community Partnership Group (PCPG) meetings at Police Station Manzgam, Police Station DH Pora, Police Post Frisal, Police Post DK Marg, Police Post Navayuga Tunnel and at Village Razloo, Kund.
At village Razloo, Kund, the meeting was chaired by Addl SP NHW Qazigund, Kulgam Shri Mumtaz Ali bhatti-JKPS. At other Police Stations/Police Post, meetings were chaired by concerned jurisdictional officers in which citizens of respective areas participated.
During these meetings, participants raised various issues of public importance. Referring to the issues highlighted by the participants, chairing officers assured them that genuine issues will be taken up with the concerned authorities for their immediate redressal besides issues related to Police will be resolved in shortest possible time. The Participants were stressed to co-operate with Police in maintaining law and order in the area and in identification of anti-national elements who try to disrupt the peaceful atmosphere.
These meetings concluded on a positive note with the commitment that police and public will work in tandem towards eradicating the evils from the society.
