Kumbh is a penance of service where every hand naturally participates in charity, says Gautam Adani

Mahaprasad Seva: In collaboration with ISKCON, the Adani Group is serving free, pure food to 100,000 people daily through the ‘Mahaprasad Seva’ initiative.

Gautam Adani, Chairman of the Adani Group, embarked on a spiritual journey to the Maha Kumbh Mela, where he immersed himself in the sacred atmosphere of the event. His visit was marked by a series of meaningful interactions and initiatives that showcased his commitment to spirituality and community service.

On Tuesday, January 21,

Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani reached Prayagraj. Gautam Adani,
a symbol of unity, purity, knowledge, and a central spiritual figure, went to the Mahakumbh Mela area and first visited the service camp of ISKCON.

In collaboration with ISKCON, Adani group is serving free, pure food to 100,000 people every day through ‘Mahaprasad Seva’.

Gautam Adani believes that serving devotees is the same as serving Mother Ganga. He views service as a spiritual practice, and believes that when done with a true heart, it reaches directly to God.

During his visit to the Mahakumbh Mela, he visited the ISKCON kitchen where Mahaprasad is prepared and reviewed all the preparations.
After this, Gautam Adani went to Triveni Sangam and offered prayers there. Triveni Sangam is the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and the legendary Saraswati River. Much has been told about Triveni Sangam in mythology. It is believed that this is the place where a few drops of nectar fell after the pot of nectar was released from the hand of the Lord. Gautam Adani offered prayers at this holy place and prayed for the welfare of the country and his family.
Prayagraj, the center of Maha Kumbh, is a city rich in history and spirituality. This city holds immense importance as a pilgrimage site. Known as ‘Teerthraj,’ or the king of pilgrimage places, it is mentioned extensively in ancient texts and travelogues.

The temples here are steeped in various beliefs. The Lete Hanuman Temple is one of the famous 16 Hanuman temples in India.
Gautam Adani visited the temple and offered his prayers. Gautam Adani believes that Maha Kumbh is the great yagnya of Indian culture and religious faith,
and service is the highest form of charity. He visited the Geeta Press camp to review their efforts.
The Adani Group, in collaboration with Geeta Press, is distributing one crore free ‘Aarti Sangrah’ books during Mahakumbh. Gautam Adani appreciates that Geeta Press has been serving India with Sanatan Sahitya for 100 years, and he considers them unparalleled in ‘Sanatan Sahitya Seva’ during Mahakumbh.
Gautam Adani believes that Kumbh is a penance of service where every hand naturally participates in charity. He met with the employees responsible for cleaning the Kumbh Mela area and boosted their morale. Thanks to the contribution of the sanitation workers, cleanliness is maintained in Mahakumbh. Despite the presence of numerous devotees, the fair area remains
spotless. The ghats of the Ganga, Yamuna, and Sangam are pristine, and the 24-hour cleaning staff diligently ensures cleanliness on the roads.
On behalf of the Adani Group, Mahaprasad service will be conducted for 5 million devotees in Mahakumbh from January 13 to February 26. ISKCON has prepared two kitchens for preparing Mahaprasad in and outside the Mela area, and Mahaprasad service will be available to the devotees at 40 places in the Mahakumbh area. Golf carts have been arranged for the disabled,
elderly, and mothers with small children in the Kumbh Mela. Five lakh copies of Geeta Saar will also be distributed among the devotees.
