New Delhi June 24: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) was never my first choice. Drawing inspiration from my father, who has now retired from the Indian Air Force, I wanted to take the National Defence Academy (NDA) examination and join the armed forces. So I took science after Class 10. However, after I appeared for my Class 10, I thought along with NDA, let me take the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) as the level of mathematics was similar and science and technology always interested me.
