LUCKNOW — In a major step toward curbing the rising number of road accidents and strengthening emergency response infrastructure in Uttar Pradesh, the Eco Bharat team held a high-level meeting with the Honorable Minister of State for Road Transport (Independent Charge), Government of Uttar Pradesh, Shri Dayashankar Singh Ji, at his official residence in Lucknow today.
The primary objective of this strategic meeting was to deliberate on practical, tech-driven solutions to reduce road fatalities and ensure immediate assistance to victims during the critical “golden hour”—the first hour following a traumatic injury when prompt medical treatment is most crucial to saving lives.
During the detailed interaction, Team Eco Bharat presented their innovative solution: the “Eco Bharat Smart QR Sticker.” Designed to be applied directly onto vehicles, these privacy-focused smart stickers allow bystanders or first responders to scan the QR code in the event of an accident. A single scan instantly alerts the vehicle owner’s designated emergency contacts and routes precise location data to emergency medical and logistical services, all while keeping personal contact numbers secure and confidential.
Recognizing the life-saving potential of the technology, the Honorable Transport Minister highly appreciated the initiative under the ongoing ‘Eco Bharat Road Safety Campaign.’ Taking swift administrative action, Minister Shri Dayashankar Singh Ji immediately directed concerned department officials to initiate prompt, positive, and necessary steps toward implementing the Smart QR Sticker system across Uttar Pradesh.
Speaking after the meeting, the Eco Bharat founder Sampat Saraswat extended their heartfelt gratitude to the Honorable Minister for his sensitive, proactive, and tech-forward approach toward public safety. The organization reaffirmed its deep commitment to collaborating closely with the Uttar Pradesh government to make the state’s highways and roads safer, smarter, and accident-free.
