India will never bow to any form of terror: PM Modi Prez Murmu, Amit Shah, Rajnath Sinha, Jitendra, LG, CM pay tributes
New Delhi/Srinagar, Apr 22: On the first anniversary of the Pahalgam terror attack that claimed 26 lives, the nation on Wednesday paid solemn tributes to the victims of the Baisaran Valley tragedy.President of India, Droupadi Murmu, in a post on X, paid tributes to the victims.
“I pay heartfelt tribute to the victims of the Pahalgam terror attack. The tragic loss of innocent lives in that heinous act remains etched in our collective memory. I express my deepest condolences to the bereaved families.
The entire nation stands with them. Such acts of terror cannot deter our unwavering commitment to peace and unity. We remain resolute in our determination to defeat terrorism everywhere in all its forms.”The Prime Minister, Narendra Modi also paid tributes to the innocent lives lost in the gruesome Pahalgam terror attack on this day last year. Remembering the victims, the Prime Minister said they will never be forgotten and reaffirmed the nation’s enduring commitment to stand by their families in this hour of grief.
Modi underscored that India stands united in grief and in unwavering resolve against terrorism. He reiterated that the country will never bow to any form of terror and that the heinous designs of terrorists will never succeed.
The Prime Minister posted on X: “Remembering the innocent lives lost in the gruesome Pahalgam terror attack on this day last year. They will never be forgotten. My thoughts are also with the bereaved families as they cope with this loss. As a nation, we stand united in grief and resolve. India will never bow to any form of terror. The heinous designs of terrorists will never succeed.”
On the first anniversary of the Pahalgam terror attack, Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Amit Shah paid heartfelt tribute to the victims, stating that the grief and pain of losing our people still remain in the heart of every Indian. In a post on X, Union Home Minister Amit Shah said, “On this day, we solemnly remember the innocent lives we lost in the horrific Pahalgam terror attack last year. The grief and pain of losing our people still remain in the heart of every Indian.
Terrorism is the greatest enemy of humanity, against which we must stand united to fight and defeat. India will continue its zero-tolerance policy against terrorism and those who harbour it.”Defence Minister Rajnath Singh paid tributes to the victims. “Remembering and paying my heartfelt tributes to the innocent people who lost their lives in the cowardly terror attack at Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir on 22 April 2025. We share the enduring pain of their loved ones and families.
We will never forget those wounds inflicted on our nation. India has endured decades of cross-border terror, but today our response is firm, decisive and unwavering. Through determined action, we have demonstrated that any attempt to harm our people or disrupt our unity will be met with strength and clarity,” reads the post on X.Union Minister of State, Dr Jitendra Singh in a post on X also remembered the innocents. “Remembering the innocent lives lost in the horrific Pahalgam terror attack on this day last year.
Their memory will forever remain in our hearts. My thoughts and prayers are with the bereaved families as they continue to endure this profound loss. As a nation, we stand united in grief and unwavering resolve. India will never bow to terrorism, and the sinister designs of those behind such acts will never prevail,” the post reads.Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha also paid tributes to the civilians who were martyred in the Pahalgam Terror Attack on 22nd April 2025.In a statement, the Lieutenant Governor has said: “Humble tributes to the innocent souls who lost their lives in the gruesome terror attack in Pahalgam on this day in 2025.
Their memory endures indelibly in our hearts. My thoughts and prayers are with their families. We will not forget. We will not forgive. This is our solemn vow. India stands unified against terrorism. We pledge unwavering commitment and resolute determination to eradicate terrorism from the soil of Jammu Kashmir”.Chief Minister Omar Abdullah also expressed solidarity with the families who lost their loved ones in the attack.“One year on, we remain united against terror & against violence.
We remain resolute in our desire to rid J&K of suffering & innocent deaths. We remain committed to doing everything to ensure it never happens again. We also remain in eternal solidarity with the families who lost their loved ones a year ago in that cowardly attack. May the souls of the victims of the terror attack rest in peace. #baisaran,” Omar Abdullah wrote on X.
