One-Day Awareness Programme on MSME Held at Patalbagh, Pampore

PAMPORE, January 16: The Directorate of Planning and Monitoring, SKUAST-Kashmir, organised a one-day Awareness Programme under the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) scheme in collaboration with the RBIC (Rural Business Incubation Centre), SKUAST-Kashmir, at Patalbagh, Pampore.
The main objective of the programme, under the theme “Grow, Process and Earn,” was to empower people to improve production, add value to their products, and enhance income generation through MSME support mechanisms.

The programme featured expert sessions by Imran Ahmad, Financial Expert from the Directorate of Planning and Monitoring; Dr Tabassum Mushtaq, Data Analyst Expert from the Directorate of Planning and Monitoring, RBIC SKUAST-K; Uzma Bashir, Marketing Expert from RBIC SKUAST-K; and Irshad Ahmad Dar, Managing Director, Jhelum Organic Farmer Producer Company Ltd.
The speakers highlighted various aspects of financial planning, data-driven decision-making, marketing strategies, and the role of farmer producer companies in strengthening rural entrepreneurship. Participants were encouraged to take advantage of MSME schemes and institutional support to establish sustainable and profitable enterprises.
The programme witnessed active participation from local farmers, entrepreneurs, and aspiring youth, who appreciated the initiative aimed at promoting entrepreneurship and economic self-reliance in rural areas.
