Srinagar July 11: Pencak Silat Association of J&K is going to conduct open selection trials for both men and women from the age of 17 years to 45 years to participate in the 11th edition of senior national Pencak Silat Championship 2023-24, which is scheduled to be held at Nashik Maharashtra from 12-15 August 2023, the organisers said in a statement.
The statement says a player should carry a valid ID proof and recommendations from his/her district head along with a parent declaration and a medical and health and insurance certificate and other related documents including two passport size photographs.
“It is advised to all the affiliated District Pencak Silat Associations to confirm their entries for the above mentioned trails in both the genders in the Senior events,” the statement reads.
“All the interested athletes are requested to kindly follow the procedure as per the rules and regulation laid down in this notice. The last deadline for the submission of the names through the district association by or before 12th July 2023,” it reads.
