Photography Trek to Tupendeo Base Camp in Kabban Valley, Padder of Kishtwar concludes

KISHTWAR, AUGUST 02: A group of nine professional Landscape and Astro photographers, under the banner of ‘Thescape’ and supported by Nikon India as their equipment partner, recently embarked on an extraordinary trek to Tupendeo Base Camp in Kabban Valley, Padder, Kishtwar.
The trek was locally organized by ‘Kishtwar Himalayan Adventures’ and received administrative support from the Kishtwar Administration spearheaded by Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Dr Devansh Yadav.

The trek commenced on July 26th from Gulabgarh, leading the photographers through the picturesque landscapes to the base camp of the majestic Tupendeo peak. Over seven days, the group set up six different camping sites, capturing the breathtaking high-altitude scenery of the Kishtwar Himalayas.
The primary goal of this expedition was to showcase the region’s stunning landscapes and peaks to the global community of landscape photographers.
This initiative not only highlights the natural beauty of Kishtwar but also aims to put the region on the map as a premier destination for landscape and astro photography. The collaboration with Nikon India provided the photographers with cutting-edge equipment, ensuring the capture of high-quality images that will undoubtedly inspire photographers worldwide.
The trek demonstrated the seamless integration of local expertise and administrative support, further emphasizing Kishtwar’s potential as a hub for adventure and photography tourism.
