Srinagar, Sep 11: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address an election rally here on September 19 to campaign for BJP candidates contesting the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly polls, the party said on Wednesday.
“Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, on September 19 to address a mega BJP rally at the Sher-e-Kashmir Park, Srinagar ahead of Assembly elections,” a party spokesperson announced.
This visit comes at a crucial time, with the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections scheduled to be held in three phases on September 18, September 25, and October 1. The counting of votes is set for October 8, adding to the anticipation surrounding the Prime Minister’s rally.
The Prime Minister’s rallies are expected to galvanize the BJP’s support base and set the tone for the party’s campaign in what is being viewed as a crucial election for the region. With the political landscape in Jammu and Kashmir evolving, and other parties like the Congress showing renewed vigor, the BJP is pulling out all stops to maintain its electoral dominance.
As the election dates draw closer, all eyes will be on Prime Minister Modi’s Srinagar rally, which could prove to be a pivotal moment in shaping the political narrative in the lead-up to this historic election in Jammu and Kashmir.
