DGP J&K extends greetings on the eve of Mata Kheer Bhawani Mela
Srinagar, June 13: On the auspicious occasion of Mata Kheer Bawani Mela, the Director General of Police, J&K, Shri R.R. Swain, has extended heartfelt greetings to the people, particularly Kashmiri Hindu community,Police Pariwar, Security Forces, and families of martyrs.
The DGP, in his message to the people said as we come together to celebrate this sacred occasion, let us reaffirm our commitment to brotherhood, communal harmony and unity. Such occasions strengthen the bonding between communities,the DGP added in his message.
Highlighting that the anti-national elements, inimical to peace and supported from across the border, are making every effort to disturb the peace and order and create hate among communities the DGP J&K appealed the people to continue providing essential support to J&K Police and security forces and help in foiling attempts to disturb the communal harmony.
“Let us celebrate this auspicious occasion with love, compassion, and unity, and may the divine blessings of Mata Kheer Bawani be showered upon us all,” the DGP prayed.”
