Principal GMC Baramulla Conducts Post-Snowfall Inspection at Associated Hospital

Following the recent snowfall, Principal Government Medical College (GMC) Baramulla,Prof. (Dr.) Majid Jahangir, conducted an extensive round of the Associated Hospital to assess healthcare services and ensure uninterrupted patient care despite the harsh weather conditions.
During the visit, the Principal inspected various departments, wards, and critical sections of the hospital. He interacted directly with patients and their attendants, inquiring about the quality of care being provided and addressing their concerns. Special emphasis was laid on reviewing the attendance and availability of medical and paramedical staff to ensure smooth functioning of hospital services.

Principal reassured patients and the general public that there will be no compromise in patient care, stating that the dedicated team of doctors, nurses, and healthcare workers remains fully prepared and committed to serving the people, even in challenging weather conditions.
The Principal was accompanied by Academic Registrar Prof (Dr.) Shafqat Lone and Assistant Registrar Dr. Shakeel ur Rehman during the inspection.
