New Delhi, January 13, 2026 – Bollywood film writer-director Adarsh Jain’s English book “India is My Country” was released at Hotel Holiday Inn in Delhi. Rahul Rai, actor of the 1990 Bollywood film “Aashiqui,” released on the occasion. Jain explained that his book is based on the story of the people of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir who are suffering from Pakistan and want to live in India. Jain’s film “Bharat Desh Hai Mera” is based on the story in this book and will be released soon. Vikas Singh, Shahid Shams, Achala Adarsh Jain, and Sanjay Bhushan Patiala were present on the occasion.
Padma Shri Anup Jalota plays the lead role in the film, playing the role of Mohammad Shafi Pandit. Mohammad Shafi Pandit is a Pakistani activist who wants to join India. Adarsh Jain stated that what is written in the book is 100% true. The people of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir are suffering from Pakistani oppression and want to join India. He explained that Kashmiri Pandits were forcibly converted to Islam and their names were changed, but they did not change their title. Those who used to use the name Pandit still do so. Adarsh Jain explained that the people of Pakistan hate the Pandits and want them to drop the name Pandit, but they are not ready for this. They say that we were born in India and India is our original country. The entire film is based on this theme. The book “India is My Country” is in English, and the Hindi version will be released soon. The film “Bharat Desh Hai Mera” is a Hindi film that will be released simultaneously across India. Adarsh Jain stated that the purpose of his book and film is to raise awareness about the plight of the people of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. He explained that the people of Pakistan and Kashmir want to live in India and are agitating for this. Adarsh Jain stated that his book and film are receiving widespread support. He stated that he is ready to release the film soon. The trailer for the film will be released on InMusic soon.
Producer Achala Jain stated that the film highlights the importance of the soldiers’ sacrifices and teaches patriotism. Singer and actor Anup Jalota has delivered an outstanding performance and singing performance. The film will be released in theaters in 2026 in five languages simultaneously. The film features a multitude of songs that further strengthen patriotism and help awaken patriotism. The film showcases India’s diversity and unity, with Anup Jalota playing a key role, and R.K.
