Sridungargarh: In an effort to curb road accidents and educate the public on traffic regulations, the organization ‘Eco Bharat’ is expanding its reach from major cities to the grassroots level. As part of the central government’s ‘Road Safety Month 2026’, a grand workshop and awareness rally were organized at the main market and railway station premises in the Sridungargarh region.
Spreading Awareness from the Main Market to the Railway Station
The campaign commenced in the presence of Sampat Saraswat ‘Bamanwali’, the founder of Eco Bharat. Special workshops were held at the city’s main market and railway station, focusing on both the technical and practical aspects of road safety.
Hundreds of Drivers Participate in Massive Rally
The primary focus of this campaign was local tempo, taxi, and rickshaw drivers.
Key highlights included:
Awareness Rally: A massive rally marched through the city’s major routes, echoing slogans like “Road Safety is Life Safety.”
Consultation & Training: Experts provided detailed explanations on the dangers of overspeeding, wrong-side driving, and driving under the influence.
The Pledge: At the conclusion of the event, hundreds of drivers took a solemn oath to follow traffic rules and assist road accident victims.
Contribution of Prominent Social Workers
Local social workers and cow-protection activists Anand Joshi, Shyam Giri, and Satish Mot played a pivotal role in the success of the event. These young leaders, along with their teams, reaffirmed their commitment to delivering the message of road safety to every home and remote settlement (Dhani).
Eco Bharat’s Mission: Every Life is Precious
Addressing the gathering, founder Sampat Saraswat stated that road accidents are not just statistics but represent the devastation of entire families. He emphasized that the organization’s goal is to reach every village in Rajasthan to minimize accidents on both highways and rural roads.
Note: Eco Bharat was recently honored with the ‘Best Startup’ award by the Government of Rajasthan. Furthermore, the organization recently signed a major MoU with IIT Delhi in the Electric Vehicle (EV) segment, under which the Eco Bharat team is now operating across India.
