Sakeena Itoo conducts surprise inspection of Emergency Hospital Qazigund assesses quality of healthcare services

QAZIGUND JULY 26: Minister for Health and Medical Education Social Welfare and Education, Sakeena Itoo today conducted surprise inspection of Emergency Hospital Qazigund to assess the quality of healthcare services available to the local population.

During her visit, Minister Sakeena took detailed round of the hospital and inspected different sections of the hospital like emergency wards, general wards, laboratories and other sections.
She interacted with the doctors and paramedics and took appraisal from them about the necessary upgrades required at this critical hospital in view of its location along the National Highway. She also directed the hospital administration to maintain regular roster of doctors and supporting staff for 24×7 functionality of the hospital.
The Minister also interacted with patients and attendants to gather first-hand feedback from them on the medical services being provided at this hospital.
