Srinagar March 10: The district administration of Shopian has submitted Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) for the preservation and development of significant religious and heritage sites in the district.
The projects, prepared by the Public Works Department (R&B) Division, Shopian, aim to restore and enhance key historical and religious landmarks in the district.
Development of the Historical Jamia Masjid in Shopian on a heritage pattern at Rs 662 lakh, renovation of Kapal Mochan Temple at Nagbal Degam at Rs 438 lakh and reconstruction of the RAM Temple in Shopian Urban at Rs 276.85 lakh
The combined estimated cost of these projects stands at over ₹1,300 lakh.
