Bandipora July 3: In a bid to bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world scientific advancement, Government Higher Secondary School Nadihal Bandipora organized a highly successful educational tour to the Department of Biotechnology at the University of Kashmir.
Central to the success of the execution was the tireless effort of Mr Ishfaq Majeed Lone, the subject teacher, who spearheaded the initiative. From planning the academic itinerary to coordinating with the university, his dedication ensured that the students received a seamless and deeply enriching experience.
The smooth execution of the tour was made possible through the dedicated support of the school’s administration. The student community extended their heartfelt gratitude to the worthy Principal, Mr. Mohammad Hussain Magray, and Vice Principal, Mr. Mohammad Ramzan Najar, for their visionary leadership and encouragement in organizing such experiential learning programs.
Special appreciation was also given to Senior Assistant Mr. Manzoor Ahmad Bhat, alongside escort staff Mr Reyaz Ahmad Shah, Mr Mohammad Ayub Ganie, Mr Mushtaq Ahmad Wani, Mtr Iram Khursheed, Mr Ghulam Mustafa snd Mr Aadil Sidiq whose meticulous planning and support ensured the trip’s success.
The organizing committee highly praised the participating students, commending them for maintaining exemplary discipline and decorum throughout the university visit, representing their school with great pride.
The program concluded with a formal vote of thanks presented by Mr Ishfaq Majeed Lone, who expressed deep appreciation to the University of Kashmir’s biotechnology faculty for their warm hospitality, and thanked the school leadership, staff, and disciplined students for collectively making the educational tour a resounding success.
Mr Ishfaq Majeed Lone also emphasised that these educational tours serve as inspiration for students, motivating them to explore diverse career paths and acquire practical skills that can lead to successful careers. These type of visits are precious opportunities for the students to gain practical insights of Modern Biotechnology and apply their classroom knowledge to real-world scenarios. They learn how Biotechnology is used in laboratories practically and this experience helps to bridge the gap between theory and practical, preparing students for potential careers in Biotechnology field.
