The teachings of the Awliya and True Sufis Never Contradict with “Quran o Sunnah”.Allama Hami addresses thousands of people at the Central Jamia Masjid Hazrat Shams Faqir.

Srinagar/Budgam: It is not hidden from any Muslim that in all matters related to the constitution of life and death, guidance from the Holy Quran and the Sunnah of Syeduna Hazrat Muhammad ﷺ is obligatory. Although the changes and transformations of the era cannot be ignored, for a Muslim, the fundamental teachings and training of the Book and Sunnah serve as the guiding light, and steadfastness upon them brings salvation and success in both worlds. However, in every era, in various regions and parts of the world including the Valley of Kashmir whereAllah Almighty has sent His righteous servants, noble Awliya, and pure Sufis to connect people with the Book and Sunnah. Because of this, the people of faith have remained firmly attached to the true religion and the Shariah of Hazrat Muhammad ﷺ, and this chain will continue until the Day of Judgment. The above mentioned points were expressed by the chief of Karwani Islami International, Allama Dr. Ghulam Rasool Hami, while addressing a crowd of thousands of people at the Central Jamia Masjid Hazrat Shams Faqir in Budgam on Friday. In his address, Allama Hami said that the noble Awliya and true Sufis have always carried out both religious and worldly affairs strictly in accordance with the correct interpretation and explanation of the Book and Sunnah, and by propagating this teaching, they have strengthened the religion of Islam. He strongly condemned the suspicions and baseless rumors being spread on social media regarding the noble Awliya and Sufis, and clearly stated that a thoughtful and sincere study of the sayings, states, actions, and character of all the righteous ones including the dignified and blessed Rishi’s, Sufis of the Valley of Kashmir and makes it as clear as daylight that these pure souls could not tolerate even the slightest opposition to the Book and Sunnah, let alone commit it themselves. He said that there is a need to view and understand the teachings of these pure souls beyond sectarian lenses. Regarding the crackdown on drug use, Allama Hami said that the daily anti-drug operations by the administration are praiseworthy and a welcome step for the betterment of the nation. He stated that drug addiction and drug trafficking reflect social, political, economic, and moral decline, and therefore, the complete eradication of this epidemic as soon as possible is urgently needed. He warned the general public that in the present era, staying connected with the Book and Sunnah, as well as with the shrines of the noble Awliya and Sufis, is the way to eliminate all evils.
