REASI, SEPTEMBER 13: In preparation for the upcoming J&K Assembly Elections 2024, the District Election Office Reasi conducted a full-day training program for Micro Observers today.
The session was attended by General Observer for AC-56 Gulbargarh (ST), Saroj Kumar Sethi, IAS and General Observer for AC-57 Reasi and AC-58 Shri Mata Vaishno Devi, Avi Prasad, IAS along with Nodal Officer Human Resource Sukhdev Sambyal and Nodal Officer Training Mohd Anwar Banday.
The Observers emphasized the importance of these training programs in preparing poll staff for their responsibilities throughout the election process. The aim of the training was to equip Micro Observers with the essential skills and knowledge required to ensure a free, fair, and efficient electoral process within the Constituency.
During the sessions, experts provided both theoretical and practical insights into the roles and duties of Micro Observers. The Observers highlighted that such training is crucial for familiarizing poll staff with their responsibilities during the pre-election, Election Day, and post-election phases.
Speaking about the training, the Observers said that the training programmes are pivotal to sensitize poll staff with their roles and responsibilities during pre-election, Election Day and post-election phases. Other present were Nodal Officer Human resource Sukhdev Singh Samyal, Nodal officer training Mohd Anwar Banday, SDM Dharmari Tariq Aziz, District Master training and others.
