Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra: District Prabhari Officer visits Pulwama, Reviews preparations of the Programme

PULWAMA, NOV 23 : A comprehensive review of the preparations of Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) was held at the Circuit House in Pulwama by Binay Kumar Jha, Director SBM (Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, GoI) and District Prabhari Officer VBSY to District Pulwama.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Commissioner Pulwama, Dr Basharat Qayoom, ADDC Pulwama, SSP Pulwama, SSP Awantipora, ADC Awantipora, ACD, ACR, ACP and various District and Sectoral officers.
The program commenced with a warm welcome extended by Deputy Commissioner Pulwama to the District Prabhari Officer VBSY.
Deputy Commissioner Pulwama underscored the tangible progress made within the district, emphasizing the successful saturation of various schemes. He expounded on the work accomplished and the preparations that have been carried out within the District.
He informed the chair about the establishment of social media channels, committees at block and panchayat levels, all geared towards facilitating effective communication and successful execution of Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra in the District.
Further, the Deputy Commissioner assured that the objectives and the vision that the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra programme encompasses will be fulfilled in the District.
Earlier, The Assistant Commissioner Development provided a succinct overview of the meticulous preparations made by District Pulwama for the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra. He outlined a series of planned activities in Gram Panchayats, encompassing mobilization, awareness campaigns, community engagement, and cultural performances.
Additionally, he highlighted the successful execution of activities conducted thus far within the district.
In his address, the District Prabhari Officer VBSY commended the District Administration for their exemplary work and stressed the dual objectives of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra Programme – reaching the unreached and transparently communicating the undertaken initiatives are fulfilled during this programme.
He emphasized the importance of leaving no one behind and outlined plans for widespread dissemination of information, ensuring awareness across both rural and urban areas.
