We Strongly Condemn the Ban on Awami Action Committee Led by Dr. Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Call for Immediate Review of the Order

Srinagar, Mar 15 : The Jammu and Kashmir (JK) Peace Forum strongly condemns the recent decision by the Government of India to impose a ban on the Awami Action Committee (AAC) led by Dr. Mirwaiz Umar Farooq. This move is not only unjust but also detrimental to the peace, harmony, and development of Jammu and Kashmir, a region that has long suffered due to ongoing conflict. We call upon the Government of India to urgently review this decision and refrain from creating barriers in Dr. Mirwaiz’s crucial work for the betterment of the state and its people.
