Srinagar, February 05: On Sunday, Gulmarg, renowned as Kashmir’s premier skiing destination, transformed into a picturesque winter wonderland, as captured by drone footage showcasing the city blanketed in deep snow during the inclement weather in Jammu and Kashmir.

Over the past four days, Gulmarg has experienced sub-freezing temperatures, with Sunday recording a low of minus 7 degrees Celsius, just above the norm. Simultaneously, the maximum temperature at the skiing resort settled at minus 1.6 degrees Celsius, marking three degrees below the usual.
The drone footage beautifully depicted the snow-draped landscape of Gulmarg, adorned with trees cloaked in white. The entire city, devoid of any snow-free patches, presented a mesmerizing white vista.

Known for its breathtaking scenery and regular snowfall, Gulmarg attracts a significant influx of tourists annually. According to the news agency ANI, visitors from Japan, Australia, and New Zealand are flocking to Gulmarg to revel in the joy of skiing against this stunning snowy backdrop.
