DIG Maqsood ul Zaman, IPS (Nodal officer/ Mentor STC Sheeri) Inspects STC Sheeri, Assesses Training of 17th BRTC

Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG), Maqsood ul Zaman-IPS, who is the designated Nodal Officer and Mentor, conducted a comprehensive visit to the Subsidiary Training Centre (STC) Sheeri to personally assess the ongoing training program of the 17th Basic Recruit Training Course (BRTC).
During his visit, the DIG underwent a minute inspection of all the facilities at the training center, including the living quarters, mess, classrooms, and outdoor training grounds. He evaluated the administrative and infrastructural arrangements tightly to ensure the recruits are being provided with an environment conducive to learning and rigorous physical conditioning.

Expressing his satisfaction with the current setup, DIG Maqsood ul Zaman noted that all arrangements are well-organized and proceeding exactly as per the scheduled training plan.
While interacting with the instructional staff and line officers, the Nodal Officer delivered a detailed briefing emphasizing the critical responsibility of shaping the raw recruits into disciplined, proficient, and empathetic police officials. He urged the training instructors to leave no stone unturned in imparting high-quality modern policing skills, physical endurance, and legal knowledge to the 17th BRTC, ensuring they are fully prepared to face real-world challenges upon deployment.
The administration of STC Sheeri assured the visiting dignitary that his directions would be implemented in letter and spirit to maintain the highest standards of institutional training.
