Says party open to join hands with like-minded parties
Srinagar, July 18: Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Thursday said that Apni Party President Syed Altaf Bukhari has accepted defeat even before the announcement of assembly polls in Jammu and Kashmir.
Addressing media persons during the new joining, the PDP General Secretary, Ghulam Nabi Lone Hanjura has said that Bukhari should apologize before the people for his role after the abrogation of the Article 370.
Hanjura added that Bukhari has admitted defeat even before the commencement of the assembly polls as he has understood that he will be losing security deposits in all the assembly constituencies.
However, he said that the doors are open for the like-minded parties to go for the united fight.
Reacting to Omar Abdullah’s statement, Hanjura stated that those who have raised fingers on the existence of the party, were given the reply by the people itself. “The people in the recently concluded parliamentary polls have given a reply to the statement of Omar,” he said.
