Army Conducts Dental Camp in Ghat Gopal, 302 Locals Receive Free Treatment

Pattan, May 12: To strengthen the bond between the Army and local residents, of Pattan area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district, the Indian Army organised a Dental Camp at Ghat Gopal village in Pattan area of north Kashmir.

During the camp, a total of 302 locals underwent free dental check-ups and were provided with necessary medicines and medical consultation by the Army’s healthcare team.

The initiative aimed at promoting oral healthcare awareness and ensuring access to basic medical facilities for residents of the area. Doctors also guided the participants on maintaining dental hygiene and adopting healthy practices.

Locals appreciated the Army’s humanitarian outreach and support towards the community. The event also served as an important platform for interaction between the troops and civilians, helping the Army gain a better understanding of the concerns and requirements of the local population.

The Army said such welfare initiatives will continue in future as part of its commitment towards community wellbeing and stronger civil-military relations.
