Army Organises Free Medical Camp in Bandipora, Over 500 Residents Benefit

Bandipora, March 28: The Indian Army’s Wular Battalion on Friday organized a free medical camp at Eidgah Park, Onagam, in collaboration with the Borderless World Foundation (WBF) and SBI Sanjeevani, reaffirming its commitment to community welfare.
A team of six doctors, including two from the Battalion, provided medical consultations and treatment to around 560 residents. The beneficiaries included 230 males, 280 females, and 50 children. Free medicines and basic health check-ups were also distributed, catering to a wide range of common ailments.

The camp witnessed an overwhelming response from the local population, who appreciated the initiative and the accessibility of healthcare services at their doorstep.
The event further strengthened the bond between the Army and the local community, with the Wular Battalion’s continued efforts towards public welfare being widely acknowledged.
