Army organizes mega medical camp

Rafiabad, Dec 07: The Indian Army’s 32 Rashtriya Rifles today organized a medical camp at Nadihal, Rafiabad, in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

The camp aimed at providing essential health services to rural communities.

The camp saw participation from approximately 500 individuals, including children and the elderly, from Nadihal, Tragpora, and nearby villages.Attendees received free medical consultations, advice, and medications tailored to their health needs, organizers said.

The event featured a collaborative effort between Army doctors and the Civil Health Department, addressing medical needs in areas with limited healthcare facilities.

Specialists at the camp also conducted awareness sessions on preventing lifestyle diseases, emphasizing proactive health management practices.

The initiative received overwhelming appreciation from the local population, who lauded the Indian Army for its continued support in improving access to basic healthcare in remote regions.

Residents highlighted the importance of such camps for buidling trust, harmony, and interaction between the Army and the community.

Villagers expressed hope for more such camps in the future, recognizing their vital role in addressing healthcare challenges in underserved areas.
