Mendhar, May 20: The Indian Army on Wednesday recovered two bags containing suspected narcotics and a weapon during a domination operation near the Line of Control (LoC) in the forward area of Balakote in Mendhar subdivision of Poonch district.
Source said the recovery was made by troops of Hamirpur Battalion during a search operation in the area. During the operation, the security forces detected a concealed bag and recovered a Chinese-origin pistol along with two yellow polyethylene-wrapped packets believed to contain narcotic substances.
