Army’s Swift Response Saves Two After Car Skids Off Road in Bandipora

Bandipora, March 16: The timely intervention of the Indian Army helped rescue two persons after a road accident near Malangam village in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Monday.
According to reports, a white Maruti Suzuki Alto (JK15B-3060) belonging to Mushtaq Ahmed, a resident of Malangam, skidded off the road due to slippery conditions and overturned near the village.

Troops of the Indian Army who were present in the vicinity immediately rushed to the spot after noticing the accident. The soldiers swiftly secured the area and provided prompt assistance to the occupants of the vehicle.
Mushtaq Ahmed and Manjoor Ahmed, who were travelling from Bandipora to Malangam, were safely evacuated from the overturned car by the Army personnel.
The soldiers also administered first aid to the injured at the spot. Fortunately, both individuals sustained only minor injuries and were reported to be safe and stable.
Local residents appreciated the quick response of the Army, saying their timely action helped prevent a serious situation. People in the area expressed gratitude and said such humanitarian assistance strengthens the bond between the Army and the local population.
