Assam CM Hemanta appreciated arrangements made at Mahakumbh

Appreciating arrangements made by yogi government for Mahakumbh Assam CM Hemanta Biswa sarma said he could take holy dip at sangam in an environment charged with spirituality. “ I have taken the holy dip on behalf of of people of Assam for the welfare of our state” , Assam CM sarma said immediately after taking a dip in sangam on Friday.

He gave full credit for this novel spiritual program to jagadguru shankaracharya swami adhokshajanand dev teerth maharaj who has inspired him to take dip in sangam since such Mahakumbh come after 144 years. CM also participated in mahayagna organised at sector 18 Harshwardhan marg falling under Mahakumbh nagar where yagna is going on since Vasant panchami.

The chief minister said the seer has played vital role in propagation of sanatan sanskriti.
His wife Riniki bhuniyan son Nandil daughter Sukanya also took holy dip along with CM sarma.
Speaking on occasion Shankaracharya said a politician is bound to attain success if he follows dharma since religion guides to work for welfare of people.
